Zambia and Zimbabwe launch KAZA UNIVISA

With the development of the Kavango-Zambezi (KAZA) Transfrontier Conservation Area which incorporates the game reserves and wildlife areas of parts of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Angola and Botswana, the Univisa will give tourists the option of moving across borders from a conservation area in one country to another without having to buy another visa for the new country. The Univisa will first be tried by Zambia and Zimbabwe for a 6 month period before Namibia, Angola and Botswana will join as well. 

The Univisa will cost US$ 50 per person and can be purchased at the following points:
• Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (Lusaka)
• Harry Mwaanga International Airport (Livingstone)
• Victoria Falls land border (border with Zimbabwe)
• Kazangula land border (border with Botswana)
• Harare International Airport
• Victoria Falls International Airport
• Victoria Falls land border (border with Zambia)
• Kazangula land border (border with Botswana)

The Univisa will be valid for 30 days and can be used for day trips into Botswana but no overnight trips at this stage. This Visa is for holiday purposes only and please note that no credit card facilities are available at the purchasing points.
Tourists from the following countries are eligible for purchasing the KAZA Univisa:
Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Britain (UK), Brunei, Burundi, Canada, Cook Islands, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Rwanda, Slovakia Republic, Slovenia Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, Uruguay and USA.
